This website offers detailed information about almost everything science related. This particular link has information about storms, weather aspects and world records. It also has links to fun and helpful sites, one of which we used in our scavenger hunt!

2. http://www.nationalgeographic.com/kids-world-atlas/resources.html#
From here, there are lots of links to interesting pages about weather and climate around the world! It is great for kids because it is targeted as a learning site, just for them.

3. http://science.howstuffworks.com
This site allows you to search for something in particular, and gives you articles about your search. These articles explain how and why things work and happen the way they do!

4. http://www.timeforkids.com
Another fun website for searching specific terms and receiving lots of great information! This site is based off of the well- known “Time” magazine, but is brought to a level just for kids.

5. http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/vef/kids/wxfun.php
The main site offers some good information and tools, especially for teachers and parents, but this link is more for the kids! Games, quizzes and other weather fun are available here!

This site has links to more information about specific weather topics, and was created just for kids by an actual weather man!

In a blog-like format, this site offers original and sometimes unusual, but great for learning and keeping busy, weather opportunities for kids!

Although a bit simpler, this site lists a multitude of fun facts, all about weather!

Made for kids, this site tells you what’s what. Read about climate, weather and all the things that make them up here!

Probably my favorite! This site is really interactive, with lots of activities and hands-on things to do! This site is so much fun!
